AgroFresh manages registration of customers, cool stores, rooms in the cool stores, and the relationship of customers and cool stores to service providers.

AgroFresh also manages the profile data held for the respective SmartFresh delivery formats.

Customers and/or related cool stores order SmartFresh treatments by computer or using the smart phone app. Orders are processed by AgroFresh with data integrated with AgroFresh’s central management system. Collaborative Supply Chain Management Systems

Our collaborative supply chain management systems, operated by “chain captains” such as packers, marketers and exporters, track quantity in its various formats through the chain, together with associated attributes and dollars.

Exporter clients use the system to have their suppliers generate electronic dispatch advices that are received by freight forwarders to create inventory. Inventory is extinguished by the freight forwarder generating loadout manifests and the exporter generating proforma and commercial invoices. The system completes with the exporter generating recipient tax invoices for payments back to suppliers.

Marketing groups use the system to have their members generate electronic dispatch advices, with consignees [including wholesalers] entering their payback pricing that is electronically returned to the consignor. The system provides real time aggregated crop flow and pricing reports to the members of the marketing group.

Clients using the full supply chain management system start by receiving and scanning harvest bins into storage. Produce is packed and scanned to pallets, extinguishing harvest inventory and created packed product inventory. Pallets are dispatched to supermarkets, other retail and wholesale, with related invoicing; or transferred to freight forwarders for receival into inventory, and subsequent loadout, proforma and commercial invoicing. Profiles holding deductable charges allow recipient tax invoices to be instantly generated. Sales and purchases data directly imports into accounting systems such as Xero and MYOB.

Industry Data Aggregation & Benchmarking Systems

GFAP provides industry level systems that aggregate data entered by participants, and generate tabular and graphical reports of the aggregated data, allowing participants to benchmark to their business within the industry.

One example of these systems are Macadata with extensive stock and sales data entered by processors on a monthly basis.

A second example is Infopome collecting cool store stocks of apples and pears on a weekly basis.

Another example is the annual citrus tree census conducted by Citrus Australia that is important for future planning and bio-security management.
